Hello, I’m Sarah, a second-generation Vermont wedding photographer with over twenty years of experience photographing weddings in both digital and film.

After apprenticing for my parents for eight years and an extensive technical education in photojournalism and film photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology, I began my own studio in 2014.

From its inception, Last Light has centered around collaborating with each of my clients to capture their soul as a couple, the history of their family, and the heart of their celebration. My unique vision and way of capturing light has been featured in international publications, including Over The Moon, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Vox, and others.

I live in the mountains of Central Vermont with my husband, Jeff, our daughter, Lila, rescue dog Arlo, and Icelandic horse, Metalia

. I love planning and maintaining my big cut flower garden, collecting photo books, spending long afternoons at swimming holes, and having spontaneous dance parties with my family.
