A Farm-to-Table Wedding at Fable Farm in Barnard, Vermont

Kerry and John’s wedding was a sweet, psychedelic love poem that tied together love of land, music, and people in a way that I have never quite seen before. Their intentional menu, all sourced from Vermont (with the majority of the food grown and raised at Fable Farm, was cooked over wood fire by the brilliant Sheperd’s Hearth. Favorite moments included a two-hour set at cocktail hour by Mountain Grass Unit, groundbreaking floral work by Erin Ostricher, and roast chicken that was raised and harvested at the venue, then carved by three beloved guests at each table. Kerry and John are visionaries who cheered on each vendor they selected for their wedding, and I sincerely wish I could photograph their wedding again, because I had so much fun being present in the utopia they created for their guests.
