I offer mentorships to aspiring and established wedding photographers between the months of November and April.

Since I started my photography business in 2014, I've been consistently passionate about growing it in a way that organically matches my way of life while responding to industry trends in a thoughtful way that still feels like me. I'm a lover of both art and strategy, and helping others to find their business equilibrium is a part of my business I've fallen in love with in the past few years.

I’m currently offering two types of mentorships:

Option One: In-Person Sessions

Part One: For the first part of our session together, we'll begin at my home in Tunbridge, Vermont and start by talking about where you're at in your business, what your current goals are, and what the biggest struggles and wins of the past year have looked like for you. We'll talk about your winter goals (a big part of growing my business each year!), and if wanted/needed, we'll talk strategy and ideas of how to get there.

Part Two: Next will be the Q&A session where you're welcome to ask me anything about my business. Potential Topics include:

- Pricing strategy and budgeting both money and time for the year.

- Finding your personal vision, standing out in an oversaturated field.

- Incorporating film into a wedding day, how to shoot film in low-light conditions, how to find the ideal film cameras, how to work with your lab to get the quality of scans you need.

- Expanding creativity on a wedding day, lighting and compositional techniques.

- Building lasting relationships with planners and vendors that feel symbiotic.

- Identifying and booking ideal clients.

- Gallery curation and simple ways to elevate work through editing and sequencing.

- Time management and work/life balance.

Part Three: The final part of the session (around 1-1.5 hours), will be a portfolio edit and sequencing time. We'll talk about the goal of your portfolio, then spend time selecting and organizing from the 100-150 images you provide into a 40-50 image set. I highly recommend getting 4x6 prints made as we'll spread them over the dining room table and sort/organize/crop them manually.

The session also includes lunch at my favorite local spot, the Tunbridge General Store, which also offers gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options.

Total Cost: 600.00

Film and Digital Portrait Session Add-On: 300.00

Option Two: Virtual Sessions

This year, I'm opening up virtual mentorship sessions for my friends further away than New England. These two-hour virtual sessions will feature a similar format to my in-person sessions (strategy session, q&a, and portfolio review/edit), and are especially a good fit for photographers who have been in the industry for a few years and looking to expand their business, bring a more intentional film photography presence into their work, and/or further develop their unique vision and brand identity.

Total Cost: 400.00
