Tori and Collin’s Secret Meadow Intimate Wedding and Dinner at Abracadabra Coffee Co. in Taftsville and Pomfret, Vermont

When Tori reached out about finding a magical wildflower field to get married in Vermont, I immediately knew the place. I was told of this field over a decade ago, when I was a photojournalist at the Valley News. There had been an elderly woman who lived in a trailer behind a cemetery near Woodstock, and she had spent years planting, dividing, and spreading lupine seeds. Now, each June, the field is awash with purples, pinks, and whites, and still a well kept secret. Their wedding date, the flowers, and the weather cooperated perfectly (I must admit, I was super anxious in the weeks leading up to their wedding as the Lupines bloomed earlier than expected, but a long cool spell kept them blooming ‘till we needed them).

Afterwards, everyone headed to Abracadabra Coffee Co, run by my friends Clint, Antoinette, and Sarah, where an equisite tablescape, curated and prepared by Adventure Dinner, was ready for their closest friends and family. Getting to help so closely with the details for this wedding was a treat for me as everything fell into place in a way that felt exactly like Tori and Collin.
