Allie and Will’s Laughter-Filled Dance Party Weekend at Ohana Family Camp in Fairlee, Vermont

I don’t think I’ve ever captured as many smiling faces as I did this past weekend at Allie and Will’s wedding at Ohana Family Camp. From the first five minutes upon arrival at camp for their barn dance, I knew it was going to be one surrounded by constant laughter, and the reoccurrence of the sun after a perpetually gray summer further highlighted all the joy present.

As Allie and Will’s officiants, Jean and Jim remarked during their ceremony, a wedding gathering is a reflection of the soul of the couple themselves. What a joy it was to capture this open, loving spirit present all weekend, from the barn dance led by Allie’s Aunt Barb to the final circle at the end of the night which quietly paid homage to all the people they’ve known and loved throughout their lives.

Ohana is a favorite place of mine to photograph weddings, and Allie and Will’s wedding was one of my favorite celebrations to capture at this unique family camp.
